Workshops

Dynamic & Tailored
Charlotte offers a range of dynamic workshops tailored to suit individuals, community groups, and institutional settings. Rooted in a deep appreciation for materiality and process, each session invites participants to explore the creative potential of textiles through hands-on experimentation and thoughtful design.

Shared Creative Journey's
Workshops are open to all; whether beginner or a practicing creative. Charlotte views her participants, whether adults or children, as part of a shared creative journey. Her teaching is a reciprocal process, where ideas, materials, and moments are exchanged to inspire new ways of thinking and making.

Charlotte’s approach is flexible and responsive to each participant’s level of experience. Her aim is to inspire creativity by showing how nature, materials, and waste can become meaningful starting points for design, rather than endpoints.

Guided Experimentation
Participants are encouraged to explore their own ideas through guided experimentation with composition, colour, and pattern. Sessions often include techniques such as screen printing, block printing, natural dyeing, indigo, stitch, experimental drawing, papermaking, and ink-making. Depending on the format, workshops may result in a collection of sample pieces for future development or a finished outcome.
